The Pillowbiter is part of a new series of work where I have put the paintbrush aside and I’m relying solely on palette knives to get the paint onto the canvas. Based off of vintage yearbook portraits these characters come to life layer by layer. Lovers from years gone by. This one in particular kinda veered off in its own direction. I’ll let you fill in the blanks.
